Ashi initially did not take shooting seriously and started just to bunk her classes as she was not good at studies. She was in 9th class when she joined the NCC camp in Panchmarhi. She was among the only two candidates selected among the 225 candidates in the selection trials. This was the time when she started taking shooting seriously as her profession.
Now the leading lady will take part in the 50 metre three positions women’s competition in the Asian Games 2022.
