For the various posts under India Post Recruitment 2023, here are the eligibility criteria:
For Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
- Proficiency in working with computers.
For Postman / Mail Guard:
- 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
- Proficiency in the local language of the relevant postal division or circle (as studied in the tenth or higher grade).
- Proficiency in working with computers.
- Valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle or two-wheeler (only for the post of postman, not required for individuals with Benchmark Disability).
For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
- 10th standard pass from a recognized Board.
Sports Quota Qualification:
- Sportspersons who have represented their state or country in national or international competitions in sports/games listed in paragraph 7 of the notification.
- Sportspersons who have competed for their university in sports or events mentioned in paragraph 7 of the notification in the Inter-University Tournaments run by the Inter-University Sports Board.
- Sportspersons who have represented the State School teams in the All India School Games Federation’s National Sports/Games for Schools in sports/games listed in paragraph 7 of the notification.
- Sportspersons who have received National Physical Efficiency Awards as part of the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
Age Limit: The age limit varies for different posts except for MTS. For candidates other than the general category, the age limit varies based on their reservation criteria. The age limits are as follows:
