Several Infosys employees have recently started receiving salary revision letters, and these revisions are set to take effect from November 1, 2023. Typically, at the tech giant, salary hikes are implemented starting from April 1 each year.

According to The Economic Times, the letters express appreciation for the employees’ commitment and performance and thank them for their outstanding support in overcoming current challenges to achieve success in all aspects.

It’s worth noting that the compensation review program for the fiscal year 2023-24 excludes entry-level employees. The decision to exclude this category of staff from the compensation review program may be a strategic move, possibly driven by a focus on cost control or other organizational priorities.

Furthermore, the report suggests that the average salary increase for employees covered by the review program is expected to be below 10%. This indicates that the overall salary increment for the specified workforce is anticipated to be relatively modest, falling short of a double-digit percentage.

According to sources familiar with the matter, “Several employees have received single-digit raises, while some are also in the low double digits. The average, therefore, is likely to be under 10%,” as reported by the daily.

Notably, Infosys, based in Bengaluru, used to announce compensation reviews in June. However, this year, the process has been delayed.
