We all know that in India, unemployment has become a major issue. This is why, to sort out the problem to a greater extent, the Bihar government has launched the new scheme, Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Udyami Yojana 2023.

The welfare scheme was announced by the Chief Minister of the state, Sri Nitesh Kumar, on September 25, 2023, to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment. The scheme is for individuals belonging to minority caste and women from minority communities.
The eligible women can choose between the Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Udyami Yojana and the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana. This is not the first time the Bihar government has introduced a scheme for the minority people. Previously, many schemes have been launched for the minority caste and communities.

Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Udyami Yojana Amount 2023
The beneficiaries under the Yojana start up their business will be given maximum assistance of Rs 10 lakhs, which includes a grant covering 50 % of the project cost, which is up to a maximum of five lakhs, and 50 % of the amount as a loan which will repayable by the beneficiaries in installments later. The loan amount will be repayable in 84 equal instalments over 7 years.
Beneficiaries should be aware that the approved sum under the scheme will be given in three equal installments. After selection under the scheme, the beneficiaries will be getting Rs 25000 per unit for training.
One person from one family is eligible to take advantage of the scheme. The age limit for the beneficiaries under the Yojana is 18 years minimum and 50 years maximum. To initiate the Yojana, a Rs 100 crore budget has been allocated.
Beneficiaries should be aware that the Minority Welfare Department will yearly determine the target beneficiaries and also administer the scheme’s consolidated funds.
