NMC NEET UG 2024

The NMC NEET UG examination is conducted every year to invite admissions into undergraduate medical courses. The NTA is the authority responsible for conducting the exam since the year 2019. Before that, CBSE used to look over the examination schedule.

Any student must be of at least 17 years old to be permitted to appear for the exam. Also, the min. marks scored by them in 12th standard must be 50%. The students must have studied Physics, biology and chemistry in their 11 and 12 standards.

NMC NEET UG Exam Date 2024

The NTA has released the exam calendar for 2024-25. According to that, the NMC NEET UG exam will be conducted on 05 May 2024 in offline mode. The question papers will be printed in 11 regional languages, along with Hindi and English. The applicants should begin studying to achieve the relevant score.

NMC NEET UG Syllabus 2024

The National Medical Commission has announced the updated NEET UG syllabus. The syllabus includes topics from the curriculum of 11 and 12 standards. You can get it from the relevant portal. The questions will be from biology, chemistry and physics. The level of questions in the 2022 exam was tricky.

The fixed qualifying percentile has been set at 50 for the students from the unreserved category, while it 45 for PwD general category and 40 for SC, ST, OBC and PwD. Thus, the applicants must check the details of an exam pattern to get a general idea.

NMC NEET UG Pattern 2024

The NEET UG examination is conducted once a year. Students must know the exam pattern well to ensure that they plan their studies accordingly. The question paper consists of 200 questions, while the students are supposed to answer only 180. Each of the topics/subjects is divided into two sections, A and B.

The first section will have 35 questions, and the second section will have 15 questions. The students have to answer only 10 questions in the second section.
