Lakhs of aspirants have taken the examinations. The written examination was conducted from 3rd Oct to 5th Oct 2023. According to the selection process, to get selected, candidates must qualify for Tier 1&2 Exam and PET Exam.

Selection Process of SSC SI 2023

The candidates can check their scores for the written paper, after which they move ahead with the selection process. The process of SSC SI is divided into the following stages.

  • Paper 1: Written Examination

The candidates who have taken the examination can check the result by the second week of October. They have to enhance the valid details in the portal to get the result.

  • Physical Endurance Test/ Physical Standard Test

The candidates who will qualify for teh written paper will have to download teh hall ticket for the physical test from the main portal. They have to maintain better fitness levels to qualify for this stage.

Exam Pattern of SSC SI 2023

Paper 1: The first paper will have four subjects – GK & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Each subject will have 50 questions carrying 1 mark each. The exam will be worth 200 marks in total. Questions asked in this paper will be bilingual.

The applicants will get 120 minutes to complete the examination. There is a negative marking also; 1/3 of the mark will get deducted for every wrong answer.

Paper 2: There is only one subject in paper 2, which is English Language and Comprehension. This paper will be of 200 marks, and the candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the test.
