Telangana Gruha Lakshmi
The Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao. This scheme has been launched keeping in mind the need for a permanent house by all the residents of the state. The project aims to benefit the women in the family.
This scheme will aid the women in getting a new home constructed or getting a previous kaccha house renovated into a permanent one. The state authorities have allocated a total sum of Rs. 12 Crore to implement the scheme successfully. All the eligible females will get a sum of Rs. 3 lakh each for the construction of their houses.
Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Apply Online
The Telangana Gruha Lakshmi 2023 was introduced in the month of August 2023. The government has started the applications for the registration under the scheme. The eligible women can apply by going to the nearest Gram Panchayat, Gram Sabha Mandal Office or the Municipal Corporation office.
The online applications for this scheme have not started yet. The applicants must apply in offline mode by visiting any of the offices mentioned earlier. Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Benefits
The state government has started the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi 2023 with a budget of Rs. 12 Crore. The scheme aims to help the residents to get a house of their own. This scheme will benefit more than one lakh women in the initial phase. Each woman beneficiary will get Rs. 3 lakh in three instalments.
The first instalment will be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account within a week from the date of acceptance of the application. It usually takes around four weeks for the approval of the application. After the construction of the basement, the second instalment of Rs. 1 lakh will be credited for the construction of the roof. Thereafter, the last instalment will be sent for the completion stage of the house.
Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Eligibility
The concerned authorities have decided on some eligibility criteria to apply for the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi 2023. The benefits of the scheme will be given only to the eligible applicants. The most important criterion is that this scheme is only for female residents of the state, and male residents cannot apply for it.
The applicant must be over the age of 18 years. Only the women who are either married or widowed will be able to benefit from the scheme. The women applicants must own a piece of land in their names for the construction of the sanctioned house. They must be permanent residents of the state and must belong to the SC, ST or BC communities.
After checking the eligibility, all the eligible residents can apply for the sanctioned sum to get their houses constructed. The application process has been listed below.
- The eligible women have to visit any of the nearest government offices, which have been mentioned above in the article.
- They will be given an application form which will have information like the applicant’s name, category, gender, age and more.

- The application forms have to be submitted back to the government office from which it was collected.
- The District Collector will review all the applications and then finalise a list of the eligible applicants.
